About Us...
Balloon Crew was started in 1990 by Wade Toomey and Mark Toomey. In 1997
Felicia Beckham became a partner after selling her business in Tulsa,
Oklahoma (started in 1992). Mark Toomey has since become a full time
Auctioneer and Real Estate Agent but is still involved in our larger
projects. Our service area includes Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Baltimore,
Virginia & Maryland. We also "take the show on the road” with a number of
our clients, some as far away as Oklahoma and Texas. We have recently
changed our name to BC Events to include the many services that we offer
other than balloon décor.
The Balloon Crew partners have had the much sought after distinction of
serving on the staff of the International Balloon Arts Convention for many
years. This has allowed them to network with literally thousands of balloon
artists from over 40 countries and acquire all the latest design skills and
concepts the industry has to offer.
Our clients include the Baltimore Orioles, Harley Davidson, Long and Foster
Realtors, Commerce Bank, Whitaker Center, Giant Foods, Wal-Mart, Ettline
Foods, AWI, Bank of America, Maybelline, Prudential-Carruthers Realtors,
over 70 Associations and Non-Profits and 40 High Schools. We decorate more
than 250 events every year!
